We would like to share an update from Hackney Education regarding temporary leadership arrangements within the SEND team.
Hackney Education has confirmed that Richard Collins has left his role. Interim arrangements are now in place while a permanent replacement is recruited. During this transition period, Bianca Wrigglesworth and Dawn Markham will jointly lead the team, with additional support currently being explored.
At this stage, this appears to be an operational update. There has been no indication of any changes to individual children’s support or provision.

This helps us to identify any common concerns, provide support, and signpost where appropriate. Where individual case queries need to be raised directly with the local authority, we can advise on the most appropriate contact route.
